Creamed Swiss Chard
This is such a great and unexpected side. Swiss chard and shallots cooked with cream and parmesan until creamy and delicious.
Ingredients
2 bunches of Swiss Chard, cut into strips
2 shallots, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup cream
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for about 3 minutes until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Add the cream and simmer until slightly reduced.
Fold in the chard and simmer until tender.
Takes 15 minutes
Serves 4-6
