Parmesan Crusted Strip Steak

Simply grilled strip steaks coated with parmesan butter.

Ingredients

  • 4 New York Strip steaks

  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temp

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

  • 1 lemon, wedges

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Take the steaks out about 30 minutes before cooking to bring to room temperature. Season the steaks liberally with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat the grill to 500 degrees.

  3. Cook the steaks on the grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side until medium rare.

  4. While the steaks cook mix the butter, parmesan, and thyme.

  5. When the steaks are cooked, spread some of the parmesan on top and let rest for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Note: This is a lot of steak. Based on the size you’ll probably need 1 steak for 2 people.
