Chile Oil Noodles

This is such an easy and flavorful bowl of noodles - ramen tossed in a spicy szechuan chili oil with garlic, ginger and scallions.

Ingredients

  • 4 packages of Ramen noodles, no flavoring

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil

  • 1 tablespoon szechuan peppercorns, crushed

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 inch ginger, grated

  • 3 scallions, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Bring a large salted pot of water to a bowl and cook the noodles to al dente.

  2. In a large skillet heat the oil over medium heat. Add the szechuan pepper, garlic, ginger, onions and soysauce and cook until the onions are soft.

  3. Toss the noodles with the chili oil and enjoy.

Takes 15 minutes
