Steak Sandwich

This is such an easy and satisfying sandwich - thin slices of ribeye topped with sauted peppers and onions with melted cheese in a baguette.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeyes, thinly sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced

  • 2 jalapenos, sliced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons pepper

  • 1 baguette

  • 4 slices provolone cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Season the steak with salt, pepper and worchestershire.

  4. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for a couple minutes per side. Remove and set aside. Add the onions , peppers and garlic and saute for 5-10 minutes until tender.

  5. Slice the bagutte in half then pile with steak, peppers, onions and top with slices of cheese. Put in the oven until the cheese is melted.

Takes 20 minutes
