Spicy Garlic Butter Shrimp

This shrimp is coated in garlic and spices then quickly cooked in butter, wine and lemon juice. There’s lots of delicious broth to sop up with crusty bread or tossed with pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 1/2 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix the garlic, cumin, cayenne, paprika, and salt together then toss with the shrimp to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Melt the butter in a skillet on medium high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 1 minute on each side. Add the wine and simmer for 3 minutes, then add the lemon juice.

  3. Serve with lemon slices over pasta or with crusty bread.
