Cajun Shrimp Pasta

This shrimp is full of spicy, smoky flavor and served with a creamy pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 2 teaspoons cayenne

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 pound fettuccine

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated

Instructions

  1. Bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta to al dente.

  2. Mix paprika, cayene, salt and thyme together. Toss with the shrimp and coat well.

  3. In a large skillets melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes per side until just cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

  4. Add the cream and cheese to the melted butter. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat well. Return the shrimp back to the pan and enjoy.
