Italian Sausage Pasta Bake
This is such a simple and delicious - one pot! - baked pasta with Italian sausage, marinara sauce and lots (and lots) of cheese.
Ingredients
1 pound Italian sausage
1 pound dry pasta
1 jar marinara sauce
1 cup white wine
2 cups chicken stock
4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
Instructions
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Heat the olive oil in an oven proof pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned. Add the white wine and simmer for 2 minutes until reduced. Add the marinara sauce and mix well. Add the pasta and stock, mix well and simmer for about 10 minutes until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
Mix in 2 cups of cheese, then top with the remaining cheese. Transfer to the oven to bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
