Orange Ginger Wings

I love to serve these wings at get togethers. They’re marinated in orange juice, garlic and ginger overnight and simply grilled to perfection. Crisp, juicy and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar

  • 1/4 cup salt

  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed

  • 2 inches of ginger, sliced

  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 sprigs thyme

  • 1 tablespoon whole peppercorn

  • 1 tablespoon whole coriander

  • 1 lemon, halved

  • 3 pounds chicken wings

Instructions

  1. Mix the orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, thyme, peppercorn, cumin, lemon and 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature. Pour the marinade in a large bowl then add the chicken and marinade overnight.

  2. Heat the grill (or oven) to 450 degrees.

  3. Remove the wings from the marinade and blot dry with a paper towel. Grill for 20 - 30 minutes until cooked through.

Takes 30 minutes (and marinated overnight)

Serves 4-6 dinner, 8-10 party
