Orange Ginger Wings
I love to serve these wings at get togethers. They’re marinated in orange juice, garlic and ginger overnight and simply grilled to perfection. Crisp, juicy and flavorful.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup lime juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup salt
3 garlic cloves, smashed
2 inches of ginger, sliced
1 tablespoons brown sugar
2 sprigs thyme
1 tablespoon whole peppercorn
1 tablespoon whole coriander
1 lemon, halved
3 pounds chicken wings
Instructions
Mix the orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, thyme, peppercorn, cumin, lemon and 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature. Pour the marinade in a large bowl then add the chicken and marinade overnight.
Heat the grill (or oven) to 450 degrees.
Remove the wings from the marinade and blot dry with a paper towel. Grill for 20 - 30 minutes until cooked through.
Takes 30 minutes (and marinated overnight)
