Lemon Butter Shrimp

Quick and delicious shrimp cooked in butter, wine, lemon, garlic and capers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

  • 2 tablespoons capers

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • Pasta or crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and cook in the butter for a couple minutes per side until nearly cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. To the skillet, add the wine and lemon juice and simmer for a couple minutes. Add the remaining butter, garlic, and capers and simmer for another 2 minutes then return the shrimp to the sauce.

  3. Serve over spaghetti or crusty bread.
