Garlic Herb Bread

Baked bread dripping in garlic, butter, and lots of herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, grated

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 cup parsley

  • 1 loaf Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Mix together the butter, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes and parsley.

  3. Cut the bread in half crosswise then slice squares through the bottom part of the bread (not all the way through) - this helps the butter seep in.

  4. Spread the butter on the bottom of the bread and into the cracks. Place the top back on and bake for 20 minutes

Takes 30 minutes

Serves 4-6
