Garlic Ginger Beef and Green Beans

Thin strips of steak are sauted with crisp green beans and tossed in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 large boneless ribeye, sliced thin

  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

  • 4 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tabelspoon rice wine vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons corn starch

  • 1 tablespoon seseame oil

  • 1 cup rice, cooked

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

  2. Mix the ginger, garlic, sambal, soy sauce, vinegar and corn starch together.

  3. Season the beef well with salt and pepper. Add to the hot oil and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  4. Add the green beans and saute for 5 minutes then return the beef to the pan and add the sauce. Toss well until the sauce slightly thickens.

  5. Serve over rice.
