Baguette French Toast
Breakfast for dinner is always a crowd pleaser. This cinnamony french toast is super delicious and comes together quickly.
Ingredients
1 baguette, sliced
2 cups heavy cream
6 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
In a 9x13” dish, mix the cream, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Put the baguette in the custard mixture and soak for at least 5 minutes per side.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat then add the bread and toast for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Serve with warm maple syrup and powdered sugar.
Takes 20 minutes
