Baguette French Toast

Breakfast for dinner is always a crowd pleaser. This cinnamony french toast is super delicious and comes together quickly.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a 9x13” dish, mix the cream, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla.

  2. Put the baguette in the custard mixture and soak for at least 5 minutes per side.

  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat then add the bread and toast for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  4. Serve with warm maple syrup and powdered sugar.

Takes 20 minutes
