Buttermilk Brined Chicken Wings
These wings are brined in a spicy buttermilk and grilled to perfection. Perfect for game day!
Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings
4 cups buttermilk
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup pickle juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves garlic, smashed
celery, carrots, blue cheese dressing, and buffalo sauce for serving
Instructions
In a bowl mix together the buttermilk, paprika, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, garlic, pickle juice and Worcestershire.
Add the chicken wings to a large ziploc bag and pour the buttermilk mixture over the chicken. Brine for at least 6 hours to overnight.
Heat grill to 350 degrees. Remove the wings from the marinade and grill for about 8 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.
Serve with veg and dipping sauces of choice.
