Bucatini with Cheese and Pepper

Cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) is such a quick and delicious weeknight dinner that comes together with some pasta, butter, cheese, and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bucatini

  • 4 tablespoons butter, cubed

  • 1/4 cup pecorino cheese, grated

  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta to al dente.

  2. Drain the pasta reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water. Toss the pasta with the butter, cheese, pepper, and a bit of pasta water as needed.

Takes 15 minutes
