Black Pepper Chicken

This is a simple and delicious stir fry with chicken, lots of black pepper, garlic, ginger, soy, onions and bell pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons corn starch

  • 2 teaspoons black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

  • 4 cloves of garlic, grated

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • Rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix together the corn starch, pepper and salt. Add the chicken and toss to coat.

  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes per side. Add the bell pepper and onions and cook for another 5 minutes until just tender.

  3. Mix together the soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic. Pour over the chicken and vegetables and cook for another 3 minutes.

  4. Serve with rice.
