Garlic Butter Steak Bites

OMG this is good. Perfectly tender bites of steak cooked in extra garlicky butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound tenderloin or strip steak, cut into small chunks

  • 2 tabelspoons vegetable oil

  • 1 tabelspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons pepper

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 teaspoons thyme, chopped

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with oil, salt and pepper.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak and cook for a couple minutes per side to sear. Remove and set aside.

  3. Turn the heat to medium and add the wine to the skillet scraping off the yummy bits. Simmer for 1 minute then add the butter to melt. Add the garlic, thyme, Worcestershire and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes then return the steak to the pan. Toss the steak well in the butter sauce and cook for another couple minutes until medium rare.

  4. Serve with crusty bread.
