Shrimp Tacos
These tacos with flavorful shrimp and a refreshing cabbage slaw are ridiculously simple and delicious - and dinner is ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tail free
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne
2 garlic cloves, grated
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups green cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
2 limes, 1 juiced and 1 wedged
4 tablespoons olive oil
Corn or flour tortilla shells
Instructions
In a large bowl mix the cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 tablespoons olive oil together. Set aside.
In another bowl mix the shrimp, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, garlic, and salt together.
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side until cooked through.
Heat the tortilla shells on the stove top or in the oven then assemble your tacos with shrimp and cabbage.
