Dry Rubbed Chicken

This chicken is seriously delicious. Rubbed all over with a kick ass spice rub and grilled to juice perfection. It’s like a big basket of dry rubbed wings, but better.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, quartered

  • 1/2 tablespoon chile powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin

  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander

  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon salt

  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper

  • 1/2 tablespoon allspice

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

  1. Heat grill (or oven) to 425 degrees

  2. Mix the spices together and rub on all sides of the chicken. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Grill for about 20 minutes per side until cooked through to an internal temp of 160 degrees.

  4. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
